Multinational tech giant Twitter , in an interview revealed that former United States President Donald Trump will be banned forever from the platform even if he comes back to office again.

Twitter Chief Financial Officer, Ned Segal revealed this during an interview with CNBC’s Squawk Box, while speaking on how the company would handle Trump’s Twitter account long term.

Responding to the question asked,How will the company deal with things if trump is elected back as president if he runs again,

He said”“The way our policies work, when you’re removed from the platform, you’re removed from the platform — whether you’re a commentator, you’re a CFO, or you are a former or current public official,”

”We’re a platform that is obviously much larger than any one topic or any one account,”

he told investors, apparently in reference to the ban. He also said that 80 per cent of the site’s users were outside the US and that the site is “not just dependent upon just news and politics being what drives Twitter.

He said

“Remember, our policies are designed to make sure that people are not inciting violence, and if anybody does that, we have to remove them from the service and our policies don’t allow people to come back.”

He concluded by saying’

That the ban of Mr Trump had not make any significant change to the company’s growth.
